PERCEPTION (2025)

In our modern way of life, we have largely lost our connection to nature. The constant information overload has numbed our senses and limited the sensory experience of the world. PERCEPTION provides an access to this forgotten reality – an audio-visual journey through various layers of our human senses.

The structure of PERCEPTION unfolds in thematic series, each consisting of three parts that together form a triptych — each with a different message and effect, each representing a different aspect of the journey.

Sounds of Perception

Perception works with immersive, ambient sounds, which have an impact on body and mind. The frequency range used goes beyond conventional hearing, thus creating a unique and regenerative sensory experience.

For conveying that, a High Resolution quality is needed. All tracks are therefore only available in FLAC 48khz/24bit, (and later upwards).

Paintings (2025)

FIRST SERIES

“Paintings” marks the beginning of the journey. Three audio-visual landscapes, inspired by the Impressionists and Debussy’s La Mer, invite the listener to dive deep into an ocean of sound and image.
A gateway to hidden levels of perception may open: a possibility to perceive what is usually overseen, yet ever-present beneath the surface.

Sounds, images wave around,
envelope, drawing you deeper into the unknown.

Impressionist painting, rich in color and intensity,
sounds create landscapes.

Focusing a single dot only,
the whole image disappears, can't be seen at all.

Immerse yourself in a bath of clouds of sounds,
with all senses touched by the brush of the sounds painted;

Rays of the eastern sun dawning,
Paintings, the truth of perception reveals.

Vintage Gate (Coming in 2026)

SECOND SERIES

The second part of Perception brings the listeners back into the un-speeding realm of unpolished, unstable sounds and images. Unlike today’s digitally polished sounds, the seemingly imperfect qualities of analog audio create space for what is naturally present – allowing to slow down and feel at home.
Vintage Gate will be available for public in 2026.
Showing the past and what can be. The decision is free.
Conditions must be created to let go of the past.

Vision is blurred, intellect stressed –
is it past or perhaps future, future past?

Gaps, absurdities, sounds,
lead into a different realm of perception.
Follow the past or look, step into a new direction?

Even if things appear different as I want them to be,
I follow the sounds into unknown territory.

The gaps that are usually short, widen and stay open.
Is it real or is it not?
